Our Mission
To support the most vulnerable in our community who lack access to the basic needs of food and shelter, and assist them in moving towards self sufficiency.
What We Do
Outreach
Provide means of sustenance through distribution of essential items such as meals, clothing, hygiene items etc.
Resources
Assist with connections to resources and services that are available through governmental and other nonprofit organizations such as VI-SPDAT, ID cards, access to healthcare etc.
Education & Advocacy
Educate community & its leaders on the challenge of homelessness, how it affects our community, and advocate effective solutions such as "housing first", mobile showers and mental health solutions.
Recovery
Assist in moving towards self sufficiency by helping get job ready, a commitment to education or by other means.
Current Initiatives
Delivering over 100 fresh meals every week prepared by our dedicated volunteers.
Delivering urgently needed items for the winter like tarps, tents and sleeping bags, in addition to hygiene kits on a monthly basis
Supporting a few of the unhoused community members with online applications for their DMV IDs, SSN, enabling them to move forward in applying for jobs.
Distributing solar powered lanterns to 475 unhoused people in Santa Clara County (courtesy a grant from Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors).
Providing warm beanies and scarves to the survivors of wildfires in Northern California.
